Hybrid Fitting

Low loft, thin margin for error, and a strike window that punishes anything off center — long irons are brutal for most golfers. Fit correctly, a hybrid trades that frustration for a club you'll actually want to pull out of the bag.

Why Hybrids Work

Easier Launch Without Giving Up Distance

A hybrid's lower, deeper center of gravity gets the ball airborne more easily than a long iron with the same loft, and its wider sole reduces turf interaction on a mishit. The result is a shot that launches higher, carries further with less effort, and lands softer on the green — exactly what most golfers need replacing a 3- or 4-iron.

Fitting is about finding where hybrids should start and stop in your set: some golfers benefit from a single hybrid replacing a 3-iron, others carry two or three hybrids and no long irons at all.

What We Fit

Six Variables That Build the Right Setup

Loft & Gapping

Each hybrid is chosen to fill a specific distance gap behind your fairway woods and ahead of your irons, with no overlap and no dead zone.

Shaft Options

Graphite is standard for most hybrid golfers seeking easier launch, but some better players prefer a steel or steel-weighted graphite shaft for a more iron-like feel and lower flight.

Head Shape

Traditional hybrid shapes launch higher and more forgivingly; more iron-like "utility" hybrid shapes offer lower flight and more shot-shaping control for skilled players.

Set Composition

We'll help you decide exactly which irons a hybrid should replace based on your carry distance data and dispersion pattern — not a general rule of thumb.

Length & Lie

Matched to blend smoothly with your iron set so the transition between the two feels seamless through the bag.

Turf Interaction

Sole width and camber tested against your attack angle so the club performs the same from the fairway as it does from a slightly tighter lie.

Retire Your Hardest Club to Hit

Sessions compare your current long irons head-to-head against demo hybrids, so the difference in launch, carry, and consistency shows up clearly in your own data.
